The following products
are used and highly recommended by The
Marble Man to clean natural stone surfaces.
If these products are used according to
their instructions they will leave your
stone surfaces looking and feeling like
‘NEW’.
It is recommended that all natural stone
surfaces be professionally sealed with
a good quality penetrating sealer to prevent
staining and contamination. The sealing
product used by the Marble Man has a 15
year warranty if used in accordance with
guidelines and is compatible with the
cleaners described below.
S-P
Cleaner
S-P Cleaner is an excellent neutral PH,
everyday cleaner for your stone benchtops
and floors. It will clean dirt and grime
off the stone and leave surfaces fresh
and sparkling. It will also reduce streaking
which is a common concern with natural
stone surfaces.
S-P Cleaner contains a small amount of
the penetrating sealer used by The Marble
Man. This ensures that every time the
cleaner is applied, the penetrating sealer
in the stone is ‘topped up’,
providing added protection. S-P Cleaner
may be used on a daily basis and should
be used a minimum of once per week.
Instructions for Use
Benchtops
| Step 1 |
Mix 1 part S-P
Cleaner to 40 parts water in
a spray bottle.
|
| Step 2 |
Spray the mixed S-P Cleaner
onto the benchtop (Approximately
1 spray per ½ m2). Too
much product will cause streaking.
|
| Step 3 |
Using a paper towel wipe
the surface dry. DO
NOT use scourers or
wet sponges. |
|
Floors
| Step 1 |
Mix 100ml of S-P
Cleaner in half a bucket of
warm water |
| Step 2 |
Using a damp Microfibre Mop
clean the floor with the solution
from the bucket. A damp rather
than wet mop will leave fewer
streaks |
|
No need to rinse this product off with
water as it acts as a rinsing product.
Imperfections and streaks are more noticeable
on high gloss surfaces therefore benchtops
and floors must be dried with a clean
towel to achieve a mirror finish.
Ideally have the area cleaned first by
a professional before using S-P Cleaner
for the first time, to prepare the surface
for effective regular cleaning.

Stone
Deep Clean
Stone Deep
Clean is a deep cleaning product. It is
highly effective for breaking down soap
scum build up on baths and showers, on
both natural stone and glass surfaces.
This cleaner is a neutral PH detergent
and will not damage your surfaces. As
this is a stronger cleaner than the S-P
cleaner it must be rinsed off thoroughly.
Ideally it should be used in showers at
least once per week to reduce the build
up of mould and soap scum.
Instructions for Use
| Step 1 |
Mix 1 part Stone
Deep Clean to 1 part water in
a spray bottle.
|
| Step 2 |
Wet the shower walls with
water
|
| Step 3 |
Spray the mixed Stone Deep
Clean on one wall at a time
so the solution does not dry
out (approximately 9 sprays
per wall) |
| Step 4 |
Use the special white nylon
pad recommended for use with
the cleaner (Scrub-a-dub) to
spread the cleaner evenly over
the entire wall. (DO
NOT use other scourers
ie green scourers as they will
scratch stone and glass)
|
| Step 5 |
Starting from the top and
working your way down, scrub
the wall with the white pad
using circular motions. Use
only moderate pressure when
scrubbing
|
| Step 6 |
Wash down the scrubbed wall
thoroughly with clean water.
The wall should look fresh and
sparkling |
|
If scum remains after rinsing, wet the
pad with water and cleaner accumulated
in the bottom of the shower and repeat
the scrubbing process in the stubborn
areas. If suds appear on the area, this
means the soap is being removed.
If normal scrubbing does not remove the
soap scum or mould call your stone care
professional. They will be able to remove
the stubborn excess and prepare your surface
so that regular cleaning with Stone Deep
Clean will be effective.
Ideally have the area cleaned first by
a professional before using Stone Deep
Clean for the first time, to prepare the
surface for effective regular cleaning.
Only use the recommended white Scrub-a-dub
pad as general household scourers will
scratch and damage stone surfaces.

areas like floors).

calcium based natural stone surfaces.

Scrub-a-dub
The Scrub-a-dub scourer is a non-abrasive
pad that can be used on any stone surface
to achieve a deep clean and to lift dirt
on rough surfaces and in between tiles
without harsh scratching. It is especially
effective for removing soap scum from
shower areas.
It has an easy grip handle and a textured
base for effective attachment to the pad.
Pads can be replaced when worn or when
a different cleaner and pad is required.
Cut down on cost by using the one handle
with a separate pad for each cleaner.
This will also prevent mixing of cleaning
products.
White scourers are highly recommended
over other conventional household scourers.
Green scourers will scratch your stone
surface and will even scratch glass and
mirrors.

Microfibre
Mop
The Microfibre Mop
has a revolutionary design that cuts cleaning
time in half and has so many useful features:
- It has a large cleaning pad, which
covers more area in one sweep
- The pad is multi-purpose and can
be used wet or dry
- The soft but textured surface of the
pad loosens dirt between tiles and removes
stubborn marks whilst gently polishing
your delicate stone surface
- The velcro back on the pad enables
easy attachment to and removal from
the mop head
- Once removed the pad can be easily
rinsed under a tap or gently washed
in a machine to release trapped dirt
and dust
- The microfibre material attracts
and traps dirt and dust on the surface
of the pad so particles are not left
on the floor to disperse until they
can be picked up
- The looped microfibre edges allow
dust to be picked up in those hard to
reach areas under skirting boards and
furniture so you don’t need to
bend down on hands and knees with a
dustpan and brush
- The amazing swivel action head allows
the mop to be manoeuvred easily so it
does not have to be lifted off the ground.
Dust is trapped underneath
- The adjustable handle can be extended
so the mop can be used on ceilings and
walls
- The handle can also rest almost flat
against the head, which allows the mop
to reach into tight corners and under
low lying furniture
