Marble, Limestone, Travertine Benchtops
Resurfacing Marble Benchtops - Polished
To resurface the marble benchtops we use diamond-impregnated pads with special wet polishing machines. The procedure involves the grinding of the marble, working up through a number of grits to a final polish. The whole benchtop is then polished using our wet diamond-polishing compound, which will return a natural high-gloss to the marble benchtop (without the use of waxes). The result of this process brings the marble benchtop back to its original glossy finish.
Benefits:
- Removes all scratches, etching and dull areas.
- Returns a natural high gloss to the surface again.
- The area will be easier to keep clean.
- We give you a natural glossy finish without the use of waxes.
Walls
Grout Smear in Stone Walls
Repolishing Marble Walls (Removing grout burn)
Repolishing the marble walls involves using a light abrasive on the surface of the tiles. This removes the dull etches (dull marks) on the surface of the tiles. We then use a diamond-cutting compound on the surface of the tiles to remove small swirl marks left from our polishing abrasive. The walls are then cleaned using a special detergent, which will return the tiles surface back to there original finish.
Benefits:
- Removes etching and excess grout off the surface in the grinding process.
- Returns a natural gloss to the dull and etched surface again.
- We give you a natural glossy reflection without the use of waxes.
Marble, Limestone, Travertine Shower Restoration
Cleaning Shower Walls and Repolish Shower Floor.
To clean the shower walls we use special detergents and scrapers to remove all excess soap scum from the surface of the stonewalls and glass shower screens. Over time it is hard to keep up the cleaning of the shower areas, which is why it is a good idea to have them professionally cleaned every 12 months.
The floor is repolished using abrasives to remove the dull and etched surface off the stone tiles, which are usually caused by harsh cleaners. We recommend sealing of all stone showers after cleaning. This will help keep the surfaces clean and reduce mould growth.
Benefits:
- Removes scum build-up on walls and glass
- Removes dirty areas on the walls and floor.
- Cleans your marble back to its original surface.
- Repolishes your marble shower floor to a smooth surface again.
- Remove mould growth in the grouting.

Resurfacing Marble Showers Walls and Floor
To resurface the marble showers we use diamond-impregnated pads with special wet polishing machines. The procedure involves the grinding of the marble, working up through a number of grits to a final polish. This process is only required when extremely damaged surfaces exist. The shower will need to be inspected to determine if this is required.
Benefits:
- Removes those dull tile surfaces and drip stains from your showers surfaces.
- Returns a natural high gloss to your tile surface again.
- You will have a high reflection on the tiles again.
- Your shower will be much easier for you to keep clean.
- You will have a natural glossy finish without the use of waxes.
- Area will be longer lasting than waxy finishes.

Sealing Marble, Limestone, Travertine Bathrooms
Sealing Stone Surfaces in Bathrooms
Sealing the stone involves thoroughly cleaning the stone to remove all inground dirt and excess materials on the surface. This is achieved by using special detergents and rotary scrubbers with all materials wet vacuumed dry. The areas is then left to dry overnight. The following day two coats of penetrating sealant are applied which soak into the stone and dry thereby sealing the pores from foreign materials. Our sealers do not alter the surface appearance or colour of the stone. Penetrating sealers do not prevent etching from occurring on the surface of marble and limestone.
After sealing the marble surfaces they will be easier to keep clean, but most importantly will not allow any liquids into the surface. Instead you’ll notice any liquid just beads on the surface. Sealing also helps to reduce the amount of mould growth in showers as it reduces the amount of water that finds it’s way beneath and behind the tiles. After sealing the area, when maintained using our maintenance process the sealer will last up to 15 years.
Benefits:
- Seals the surface to stop liquids and dirt from penetrating the stone surfaces.
- Seals the grouting to help stop liquids and dirt staining them.
- The areas will be easier to keep clean.
- Sealing will reduce the scum build-up in your showers.
- Will help prevent mould growth in the shower.
- By using a penetrating sealer the stone will be able to breathe
